What each part does today

Each part has a status. Only the plain VMS has a long field history, in three district courts.

Recording

Running in the field

Records IP cameras 24x7 on your own Windows server, with one connection per camera shared by recording and live view.

Live wall and playback

Running in the field

Live wall, TV wall, and playback with a timeline. Export evidence to MKV, MP4 or AVI.

Disk and recovery

Built, tested by us

Keeps a safety reserve on the disk. With auto-delete off it pauses and shows REC PAUSED instead of deleting evidence silently.

  • Checks the database and restarts it if it stopped
  • Does not delete recordings when settings cannot be read
  • Backup covers settings, not video

Audit log

Built, tested by us

Hash-chained log of logins, settings changes and exports, with a Verify button.

  • Shows whether the chain is intact

Remote access

NOP Server, NOP Client for Windows and an Android app. The site connects outward, so no port forwarding or static IP is needed.

Licensing

Built, tested by us

One-time licence, locked to your machine and set by camera count. It works offline, with no licence server.

How it fits

Camera, server, viewer

Cameras send one stream each to the NOP server. The server records and shares that stream with live view. Viewers run on Windows and Android.

Optional: a GPU PC for AI. If you use NOP Pro or NOP Pro+, a GPU PC runs the AI on the same site, so video does not have to leave the site.
